Character information

I am totally new to virtual tabletop play and have a question. How do players share their character sheets with the Gm typically? I am thinking of starting a campaign using Roll20 but was just curious on how players shared their character sheet.
Email is still a viable solution. Also, there is a plethora websites that host characters sheets for easy reference. Mythweaver is an example website that hosts characters sheets. Also, there are campaign management website like Epic Words or Obsidian Portal that do a whole lot more than just character sheets. Epic Words offers a limited free account. Also, you can also create your own free wiki or forum to host your game, characters, and anything else. Here are a couple of examples:
Thanks a bunch!
well, they just implemented character sheets to the rest of us roll20 users... they seem to work great.
